Isothiazolinones are one of Kairui’s star biocidal products. They consist of 5‑chloro‑2‑methyl‑4‑isothiazolin‑3‑one (CMI) and 2‑methyl‑4‑isothiazolin‑3‑one (MI). The biocidal mechanism involves disrupting the protein bonds of bacteria and algae, rapidly inhibiting their growth upon contact and leading to cell death. The product offers strong inhibitory and killing effects against common bacteria, fungi, and algae, with advantages including high efficiency, good biodegradability, no residue, safe handling, good compatibility, high stability, and low operating costs. It can be used with chlorine and most cationic, anionic, and non‑ionic surfactants. At higher dosages, it also provides excellent biofilm stripping performance.   • KR‑406 Compound Biocide – a quaternary ammonium salt type biocide, used as a biocide and slime stripper in cooling water systems.
